Session 1: Tuesday 8th June; 7.45 pm on Zoom.

You are invited to a very different type of discussion session; in these sessions, you will have the opportunity to express your own views as we explore some of the big questions of our lives. Using reason and logic we will examine the arguments drawing on expert opinions from East and West.

Setting the Scene

The themes that we will explore will include The Cosmos, Life and Evolution, and Mind and Consciousness. We will listen to the views of academics and thinkers in Beijing, Hong Kong, the UK, and the USA – people from different worldviews and opposing opinions – to help stimulate our own thinking and discussion around the topics.
