Communion

“The authenticating, inner essence of worship is being satisfied with Christ, prizing Christ, cherishing Christ, treasuring Christ. It encompasses all of life that flows from the heart.” – John Piper

On Sunday mornings, we have two services: our communion service starts at 10.00am. This is a reflective, unstructured time of worship, when the focus is on the person and work of Christ. The climax of the service occurs when we remember the death of the Lord Jesus Christ using the Biblical ceremony called the “Lord’s Supper” (which many Christians call communion). Everyone is welcome to attend this service, but only true followers of Jesus Christ can take the bread and wine.

Our communion service is perhaps the heart of the fellowship’s corporate worship, and is highly valued by our members
